Its been an amazingly HOT week here in the region.
Bush Fires in Herzegovina and Croatia (elsewhere too) and water, it seems, could be rationed as levels drop in the reservoirs.

A quick catch up from the shoreline of Lake Kotor.
A very exhausting but extremely worthwhile weekend as we lay on another Annual Birthday Party here in the Village.
Every year we celebrate the official Birthday of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Second here in North West Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Funky Guerrilla Story.
The story (so far), told by co-founder Predrag Borojević, about an innovative startup from Gradiška in the north of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The idea, the obstacles. highlights and downslides, and the rocky creative road to success.
In a country (Bosnia and Herzegovina) where success stories are really so far and few between, The Funky Guerrilla are, in way, trailblazers!
#Audiomo Day 8 -Thoughts from Bosnia and Herzegovina by David Bailey and Tamara Pejčinović
Children's Fancy Dress Fashion Show.
I have to admit that being asked to cover a young children's Fancy Dress Fashion Show, for possible inclusion in the blog, did fill me with some trepidation.
After all, the phrase "don't work with children and animals" didn't become famous for no reason.
Now, before you get all hot under the collar, I have had children of my own and now have super grand children, so I AM CHILD FRIENDLY.
The event I needed to document was the launch of a new line of fancy dress by Viktoria Shop, an innovative entrepreneurial undertaking in Banja Luka.
The event, although "boutique" in size was amazingly well or organised.
Not only did it preview new Costumes on the traditional "cat walk", but also featured children showing their dancing prowess as well as 2 young ladies singing exceedingly professionally.
To say I was impressed, would be an understatement.
My personal takeaway was, that when the trend in Bosnia and Herzegovina is to be negative about taking the initiative and control of your life, small entrepreneurial steps like this proves that all is needed is an idea and some passion.
The success WILL come eventually.
Christoph Baumgartner and Balkan Stories Dot Net.
As a Blogger/Vlogger it can sometimes be a bit lonely, trying to come up with topics and ideas for future content, either as Blog Posts or Vlogs for my youtube channel.
Over the past 2 years I have become increasingly more in contact with a Blogger, also keenly interested in the Balkans, but from Vienna in Austria.
His name is Christoph Baumgartner and he runs Balkan Stories, a blog in German.
We have struck up an "online" friendship and recently during a visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina we managed to catch up in Banja Luka.
I had intended to video the interview I wanted to produce for my Balkan Adventures Podcast BUT, the camera decided to stop at the 16 minute point. These things do happen, sadly.
However, the audio recorded to the end
Christoph's insights into the Balkans are extremely interesting and, I think, compliment my own.
Check out the Balkan Stories site as well as the FaceBook Page.
